U3A Writers’ Groups Holmes Chapel

Ali Holah, the illustrator beyond compare, and I will be talking to a U3A Writer’s Group in Holmes Chapel on Friday 5 April.

The U3A is the University of the Third Age,  a group of retired and semi-retired people in the UK who meet to share and learn from each other. I have friends who attend wine groups, and cookery classes with the U3A and really look forward to these meetings!

Ali and I were approached by a member of the writer’s group, and are more than happy to talk to other writers about our process and the subsequent learning curve after the publication of our first children’s book, Leo’s Ladder.

We will be showing the very first bean of our idea and all it’s metamorphoses. I am keen to hear about the member’s own journeys into writing!

We like to visit schools, and have a library visit lined up in November.  Please contact us if you would like us to talk to your groups!
